**August 12 - August 16 Sold Out!
Why do turtles have shells? Why do bats only come out at night? Investigate your favorite animal species and how they evolved during this week of adaptation adventures. We observe plants and animals up close using collection nets, preserve leaves and flowers with plant presses, and tend to the animals in the Natural Science Museum. Examine the obvious and not-so-obvious adaptations that help these living organisms survive using binoculars, magnifying lenses, and other scientific investigation tools. Put your knowledge and own adaptations to the test playing games, engineering designs, and solving mysteries. Each session will have unique activities determined by the summer instructors.
