Alesia joined the Maria Mitchell Association in 2025. She holds an MBA from Babson Graduate School of Business and has over 20 years of experience in business management, accounting, and tax compliance. In her role, she oversees financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to ensure the organization’s long-term sustainability.

A year-round Nantucket resident since 2002, she is passionate about Maria Mitchell’s legacy, historic preservation, and the island’s unique natural environment. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, practicing yoga, and exploring Nantucket’s landscapes with her two children.
