The Maria Mitchell Association (MMA) is one of Nantucket’s most popular cultural attractions, serving over 22,000 learners of all ages each year. For more than 120 years, the MMA has been dedicated to igniting a life-long passion for science through education, research, and first-hand exploration of Nantucket's sky, land, and sea. The MMA’s Business Sponsorship Program offers companies and foundations a high-profile, customizable, partnership opportunity.
Your sponsorship sustains our year-round and seasonal programming, allowing us to create accessible experiences that spark curiosity and connections to nature. For 2026 we are offering two unique sponsorship opportunities. The $10,000 giving level can be tailored to fit your company's individual marketing goals and community outreach objectives. This level also offers a team building and recognition opportunity for your team to experience all the MMA offers firsthand with our Sky, Land, and Sea packages. Whether you prefer private stargazing at Loines Observatory, a private nature walk with our natural sciences team, or private beach programming with our aquarium team, we know your colleagues will be mesmerized by all of Nantucket's natural beauty. The $5,000 giving level is available for only two sponsors each year. This exclusive partnership supports our podcast "The Nature of Nantucket" with 52 episodes annually and 100k weekly listeners.
