Animal Signs & The Five Senses I, II, and III
This is a half day program meeting from 8:50am-1pm
Join the adventure as we embark on a week-long exploration of Nantucket’s natural wonders! Discover the island’s beaches, forests, and grasslands, and search for signs of wildlife. Use your own senses to unravel clues hidden in the landscape while learning how animals rely on their senses to survive in different environments.
Our Environmental Educators will guide you through exciting activities, including games, hands-on projects, and the use of scientific equipment to investigate the world around us. Each day brings a new theme, keeping every moment fresh and full of discovery as we explore Nantucket’s unique conservation lands. Investigation Station I, II, and III

Activate your inner detective for a week of hands-on physical science fun and adventure! This week is all about investigation—magnifying your curiosity and diving into the mysteries of Nantucket’s natural world. Explore the fascinating vernal pools, the island’s unique freshwater ecosystems, and uncover other intriguing natural processes happening all around the island.
Guided by our Environmental Educators, each session will feature exciting, hands-on activities designed to challenge your observation and problem-solving skills. Whether you're studying the water cycle, investigating wildlife behavior, or conducting experiments, this week promises an immersive and exciting scientific journey. Aware In The Wild I and II
This is a half day program meeting from 8:50am-1pm
Get ready for an exciting adventure as we explore survival in the wild! Journey across Nantucket Island to discover the incredible creatures and plants that thrive here. This week is all about immersing ourselves in different ecosystems, learning about the fascinating survival techniques of local wildlife, and engaging in nature-based games and activities.
Led by our Environmental Educators, you'll observe how animals and plants adapt to their environment and gain hands-on experience in understanding the natural world. Whether it’s tracking wildlife, identifying plants, or playing interactive survival games, every day promises a new and exciting way to connect with nature. Join us for a week filled with exploration, fun, and survival skills!

Wacky Waves I and II
This is a half day program meeting from 8:50am-1pm
Join us for a weeklong, fun-filled educational experience as we explore Nantucket’s vibrant freshwater and marine ecosystems! Get up close and personal with marine life using seining nets and hand nets to catch and learn about the fascinating sea creatures that call the island home.
This week combines outdoor adventure, hands-on learning, and creative play, offering a perfect balance for curious minds. Explore the surf, beachcomb the shores, and make new discoveries with us as we uncover the wonders of Nantucket’s coastal habitats. Each session will feature unique activities designed by our Environmental Educators to deepen your understanding of nature and leave you with lasting memories. Come get your feet wet and join the fun!

Island Explorers
This is a four day, half-day program meeting from 8:50am-1pm inclusive of optional late pick-up
Come explore coastal and upland habitats in search of critters, play games, listen to stories, make crafts, and so much more!
Cost per Participant: $550

Camper Health Records:
Once enrolled in our Discovery Camp, your registered email address will receive an invitation from our electronic health records portal - Camp Doc within a month of enrollment. To complete this profile, you will need to provide the following information:
- Phone number for your child’s doctor
- Health insurance details
- Emergency contacts and phone numbers
- Names and contact info for people on your child’s pick up list
- Medication details if applicable
- Physical and immunization records
Medical and medication forms are REQUIRED for camp participation. Campers' profiles must be completed at least 2 weeks prior to the registered session. Please Note: No camper will be allowed to participate in our programs without our administration receiving ALL of the completed registration forms and medical information. MMA reserves the right to cancel – without refund – any camper’s spot if the information is not received two weeks prior to the session’s start date.
Camp Session Details:
- Session Details will be shared the Wednesday before your camper's session begins, you will also receive a detailed email that includes drop off and pick up details, an agenda for the week with locations, activities and what to bring. Since our instructors plan their lessons the week prior to the session it is not possible to send this information sooner.
