Private Camp Experiences

Private youth drop off program.  Join Discovery Camp educators for an afternoon of adventure. Select a theme during registration.


This is a 2.5 hour program. Drop off and pick up dependent on theme choice. Completion of Health Forms REQUIRED.

  • Private Shoreline Adventure

    Join Discovery Camp educators for a private adventure along the shoreline of Nantucket Harbor! We will dip net next to the Creeks, spot horseshoe crabs, explore sandy shorelines, and make a special marine inspired craft!


    This is a 2.5 hour program. Departing from the MMA Aquarium at 28 Washington Street, and meandering to Harbor Flats by Sayle's Seafood.  This program is appropriate for ages 5 and older. Health Forms must be completed for this drop off program.  

  • Private MMA Land to Sea Exploration

    Join Discovery Camp educators for a private land to sea exploration. This afternoon will begin at the MMA Natural Science Museum to uncover the terrestrial creatures that live on Nantucket Island. We will then embark down Main Street, spotting the Pacific National Bank where Maria saw the famous comet, and end at the MMA Aquarium, where we will explore the species of the sea, and complete an activity focused on what was seen.



    This is a 2.5 hour program. Departing from the Natural Science Museum at 7 Milk Street and ends at our Aquarium at 28 Washington Street. This program is appropriate for ages 5 and older. Health Forms must be completed for this drop off program.

Each afternoon program runs from 1pm- 3:30pm. Registration is per day, and first come, first serve.

This flat-rate program can accommodate up to 6 children, ages 5 and up.

Registration Information

***PLEASE REMEMBER***


You must have at least a Family Membership at the time of purchase to receive the member discount. If you need to join or renew, please add the membership to your cart first. You must be logged on to your account to receive the discount. If you pay without the discount showing, or are requesting other discounts, you will be responsible for all transaction/processing fees with a minimum charge of $25.

 

The medical release pick up form is now filled out as part of the registration process. Before you register make sure you have:

  • Phone number for your child’s doctor
  • Health insurance details
  • Emergency contacts and phone numbers
  • Names and contact info for people on your child’s pick-up list
  • Medication details if applicable

 

You will be notified of the required physical and immunization records during the registration process and will receive these details in the confirmation email you receive upon registering. If you are still unsure, please visit the required medical forms page.
